Well-drilling and “Water of Life” evangelism

75 villages, each with a population of over 2000, urgently need drinking water. Because of the lack of pure water, these villages have widespread diseases, infant mortality, despair. 65% of diseases are waterborne, which means that most village diseases can be avoided through the availability of pure drinking water. Typically the Cornerstone Rig Unit drills a 900 feet to 1000 feet-deep well through the rock and then set up a pump, enabling the Villagers to get fresh, clean water for their drinking needs.

A gospel team accompanies the Rig Unit to distribute gospel literature and screen the movie on the life of Christ 2. 1/2 hours and preach about the “Water of Life”. The cost of drilling one well and installing a pump set is $2500.
